Newton County...

where government services are adequate without being overbearing. Indiana maintains a Township form of government for local control of the local issues, along with the traditional County and State forms of governing familiar to people throughout the country. Tightly controlled taxing is favorable to business while un-employment and worker’s compensation rates are the lowest in the region. When it comes to development, teamwork is the name of the game in Newton County. Representatives from Federal, State, County and Local levels work together to make business development and expansion a reality. We also work closely with our utility providers to ensure competitive rates for their services.
