County Commissioner and County Council Meetings
The Newton County Commissioners meetings are held on the First and Third *Mondays of each month @ 8:30 am. The First meeting of each month is held at the Commissioners Room located at the Newton County Courthouse. The third *Monday of each month the Commissioners meet at the Newton County Government Center immediately following the County Council Meetings.
The Newton County Council meetings are held on the Third *Monday of each month @ 8:00am at the Newton County Government Center *(unless a legal holiday falls on the scheduled Monday).
